Parks & Recreation & Building Maintenance
The Building Maintenance Bureau is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of City buildings, including City Hall, the Stoddard Building, the Senior Center, the Police Station, the Curtis Building, the Public Works Complex, the Curtis Memorial Building, and the Meriden railroad station.
The Building Maintenance Bureau has very little interaction with the public, with the exception of answering questions on City building features or providing directions within City buildings. However, the division is always open to suggestions concerning ways to improve the existing facilities found within City buildings.
