Water Distribution Maintainer – Full time 40 Hours Per Week 
This is a combination of semi-skilled and skilled, mechanical work in the maintenance, repair and construction of the municipal water distribution system and the operation of moderately complex specialized maintenance and construction equipment. High school graduate or the equivalent. Considerable experience in water maintenance and construction work. Considerable experience in the operation and maintenance of trucks, and other specialized automotive equipment. Must possess a commercial driver’s license Class B. Public Health Nurses (Per Diem) 
The City of Meriden, Department of Health and Human Services, is looking to hire Per Diem Public Health Nurses to work in school health offices during the school year. Candidates must have a current Connecticut Registered Nurse license and valid drivers’ license. School nursing and/or pediatric nursing experience is preferred. Strong clinical skills are required. Police Records Clerk 
This is a full time, 40 hour work week position responsible for accurately maintaining a variety of records, preparing summaries of records assisting the department in planning its functions. Duties include posting information to police records, identifying specific information from individual’s records and tabulating it on various state and federal reports. Responsible for making moderately complex records management decisions. Work requires good knowledge, skill and ability in standard clerical functions and office management procedures. Public Health Nursing Administrator – Full Time 40 Hours Per Week 
This is a professional position responsible for administering the comprehensive school nursing program at public and parochial schools in Meriden. Primary functions of the position include coordinating, implementing, evaluating the school nursing program, and supervising school health nurses and health aides. Work is performed with considerable amount of independence under the general direction of the Director of Health and Human Services or the Associate Director of Health. The candidate must possess a license as a Registered Nurse as issued by the State of Connecticut. The candidate must also have a Baccalaureate degree with at least two years experience as a school nurse; at least one year experience in a public health setting, and at least two years supervisory experience in school health.
