The Meriden Public Library seeks a 20 hour/week Librarian. Applicants must enjoy working with all ages, have excellent communication and computer skills, and knowledge of new technologies. Flexible schedule, some nights and weekends required. MLS from an ALA-accredited school or a Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by graduate level courses which will lead to the Master of Library Science Degree within two years of employment. A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in chemistry, plus two years of experience as an analytical chemist, including one year in responsible charge involving waste water or environmental laboratory work or and equivalent combination of training and qualifing experience substituting on a year for year basis. $24.60 per hour.
