The Little Rendezvous
Established in the late 1800s as a bakery, the Verdolini family in 1938 connected the two buildings with the hallway and this is when it became known as "The Little Rendezvous." From there the Mezzonetti family took over in 1946 and the Pascucci family ran it until 1962 when Lou Molinari took it over. Shortly thereafter, Paul Bernier started to work part-time until he eventually took over in the fall of 1980. After 16 years of working at UPS, Steve switched to full-time and decided to make this business his future career.
The Little Rendezvous serves only coal fired brick oven pizza, cold beer and soda. Coal was and still is the main source of heat for cooking the pizza pies. There is no delivery service and only cash is accepted for payment.
