Chief Jeffry Cossette announced the addition of a certified police officer to the department roster. Officer Christopher Griffin was sworn in today by Deputy Chief Timothy Topulos. Officer Griffin is a Connecticut certified police officer who previously served with the Greenwich Police Department. Officer Griffin will complete in-house training on department policies and procedures and a field training/orientation program by the end of October.
