HIV stands for "human immunodeficiency virus". It is the virus that can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, or AIDS. Unlike some other viruses, the human body cannot get rid of HIV. That means once you have HIV, you have it for life.
The only way to know if someone has HIV is to get tested.
* Free, confidential testing for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).
* Educational materials in English and Spanish - brochures, pamphlets
* Free condoms (both male and female)
* Healthy Relationships programming
Testing is offered to residents over the age of 18.
