HIV/AIDS Program

AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is a disease caused by the HIV virus. Once a person has been infected with HIV, he/she has it for the rest of their life. Most people infected with HIV will go on to develop AIDS. There is no cure for either HIV or AIDS!

Our bilingual, bicultural counselor/educator can speak with people by phone and answer any questions about HIV and AIDS.

She can also help you decide if you need to be tested and can set up an appointment for you to come in for confidential or anonymous counseling and testing. Please call (203)630-4176 to set up an appointment.
