Clinic Health Services
As public health professionals, we strive to promote the health and wellness of Meriden’s citizens. Residents are encouraged to contact staff to ask questions, resolve complaints, suggest improvements or comment on a job well done.
Clinic Services include:
Communicable Disease Tracking, Education and Follow-up
Tuberculosis Screening and Follow-up
Hearing Screenings
Immunization Program
Blood Lead and Hemoglobin Screening
Injury Prevention Program
Health Information (Wellness Program)
Blood Pressure Screenings
Preschool (age 3-5 years) - Be sure your child can see and hear by having his/her vision and hearing screened before he/she enters school.
W.I.C. Certifications - Height, weight and hemoglobin for children to 5 years of age.
Infant/Child Immunization Program - Free immunizations for Meriden children from birth through completion of high school by appointment and/or referral from private physician, walk-ins accepted.
Adult Immunizations - This includes the flu and pneumonia vaccine for a small fee or through Medicare.
Injury Prevention - Bicycle helmets (adult and child sizes) are sold for $7.50.
TOBACCO CESSATION SERVICES are also available - free individual and group counseling, free 12-week supply of nicotine replacement therapy! Call Geralyn at (203) 630-4003 or email glaut@ci.meriden.ct.us.
