Chief Jeffry Cossette announced the promotion of Detective Richard Baustien to Detective Sergeant. Detective Sergeant Baustien is assigned as the Crime Suppression Unit supervisor. Detective Sergeant Baustien was a Detective in Major Crimes for the past three years and was re-assigned to Crime Suppression in July. He has a great deal of experience in criminal investigations, evidence, and general law enforcement. Detective Sergeant Baustien is a twelve year veteran of the department.
